The wedding couple took a photo against the background of the launch of the SpaceX rocket

A couple of honeymooners during a wedding photo session were amazed when the launch of a SpaceX rocket turned out to be their first family photo. The photo session took place on Thursday, December 8. The honeymooners Amy and Kevin Vargo wanted to hold a photo session at sunset in front of the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in St. Augustine.

The couple did not suspect that the launch of the SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket was planned that day. But photographer Jennifer Togel found out about it in advance, who decided to surprise the young people. Being a resident of the Atlantic coast of Florida, the photographer regularly witnesses rocket launches. Like any good photographer, Jennifer made good use of her knowledge of the terrain, in this case, the location of the Kennedy Space Center with a launch pad for rockets.

“We arrived about an hour before the start south of St. Augustine. But I was not completely sure that I would be able to capture the impressive moment of the rocket launch in the photo, because it could have been delayed for various reasons. But I chose the angle, put the camera on, adjusted the lighting and started the countdown,” says the photographer.

Jennifer had a “window” of just 45 seconds while the SpaceX rocket was gaining altitude and entering orbit with 40 OneWeb Internet satellites. It was at these moments that these wonderful photos were taken – the emotions of the spouses watching the rocket flight were sincere and full of surprise, which only gave them naturalness, becoming the icing on the cake of the wedding photo session.

“It was an amazing surprise, we didn’t even realize that it was a surprise for us. I will always remember this photo session,” the bride Amy Vargo told about her impressions in an interview with FOX 13.
