Debut launch of the Australian Eris rocket

Eris is the first Australian orbital rocket built by startup Gilmour Space. It is capable of launching up to 215 kg of cargo into a 500-kilometer sun-synchronous orbit and up to 300 kg into a 500-kilometer equatorial orbit. The first attempt to launch Eris took place on May 17. However, at that time, it never left the launch pad due to a malfunction that led to an unauthorized jettison of the payload fairing.
