The night of June 10-11 is the best time to watch the full moon. This month, it is called the Strawberry Full Moon. It will also be the southernmost until 2043. Not everyone in Ukraine will be able to see it.

Strawberry Full Moon
On May 10-11, at 4:44 a.m. GMT (11:44 p.m. EST), the June lunar full moon will reach its maximum phase, meaning that almost the entire hemisphere of our satellite facing the Earth will be illuminated. It will be visible in North America, but in Europe and Ukraine in particular, it will be morning by this time, and the Moon itself will no longer be in the sky.
Therefore, the best time to observe it is the night of 10 to 11. At this time, the full moon, traditionally called the Strawberry Full Moon, will be best seen. The name does not mean that our satellite will turn red or pink during it.
It is only a reference to the time when strawberries, or rather wild strawberries, ripen in North America. At the same time, no one is even sure that this name was used by anyone before the twentieth century. Therefore, it should not be taken too seriously.
The southernmost full moon
But the main thing about the June 2025 full moon is not its name, but the fact that it will be the southernmost until 2043. The moon’s orbit is inclined to the ecliptic, which in turn is inclined to the celestial equator. Therefore, the position of our satellite can deviate from it in both directions and quite strongly. You can read more about this in this article.
The main thing to understand is that the Moon will be poorly visible tonight in the Northern Hemisphere. But in the Southern Hemisphere, it will rise high enough above the horizon to be visible all night. So, not everyone in Ukraine will be able to see it.
To become one of those lucky enough to see the strawberry full moon, you need to get out after 6:00 p.m. GMT (1:00 p.m. EST) and find somewhere where the southern horizon is not covered by houses and trees. It is above it that night that you can see the constellation Scorpius, and the Moon in it.
