Planet Labs Company published satellite images of Kherson International Airport. On them you can see burning Russian combat helicopters and armored vehicles.
Russian war equipment was destroyed during an attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on March 15. Satellite images show at least three burning helicopters, as well as a number of destroyed units of equipment. Photos taken from a drone launched in the village of Kamyshany also show thick clouds of smoke over the airport.

The shelling of the airport was also recorded by the automated system FIRMS (Fire Information for Resource Management System), owned by NASA. It is designed to monitor forest fires. According to the system, the Russian aggressors were attacked at 01:42 p.m.
