The ISS is the largest structure ever built by humans in space. It is home to seven people. Its length is 109 meters, its sealed volume is 1000 m3, and its weight exceeds 400 tons.

The photo was taken on March 8 at a time when the ISS was over the southern Atlantic Ocean. One of the images was taken in the near infrared range, the other through the green channel. In addition to the station, clouds in the earth’s atmosphere can also be seen in the photo.

HEO Robotics specializes in taking pictures of various space objects — mainly out-of-service satellites and spent stages. This data can be used to assess their condition and the degree of danger.

The company has previously demonstrated its capabilities by publishing a photo of the spent stage of the Japanese H-IIA rocket. It has been in space since 2012.
