Dmitry Rogozin, the former head of the Roscosmos Corporation, is known for his aggressiveness and scandalous statements. On January 23, he gave an interview to Russian journalists, in which he stated that he had found a Ukrainian howitzer, from which a shot was allegedly fired, which caused his injury on December 21.
Rogozin referred to the fact that he had worked for the Russian Space Agency for four years, and he still had friends and partners there. They allegedly showed him an image taken that evening by one of the aggressor country’s spacecraft. Thanks to it, he calculated the Ukrainian howitzer that brought him so much pain.
In general, Roscosmos is considered a fully civil organization, which allows it to continue participating in various international projects. At the same time, while heading it, Rogozin had already stated that he was monitoring the NATO headquarters, which was actually a function of military space intelligence.
And that’s what happened again. Moreover, Rogozin said that he would take revenge. “As a man and an officer, I am simply forced to implement operation “Retribution”,” he said. At the same time, it is unknown in which troops this gentleman is currently serving, or what position he holds. According to him, he is part of a group of military advisers that Russia has sent to help the terrorist organizations “DPR” and “LPR”.

The circumstances under which Dmitry Rogozin was injured remained contradictory. It was only known for sure that it happened on December 21, 2022, in the restaurant “Shesh-Besh”, where he allegedly celebrated his birthday. Together with him, the so-called head of the government of the “DPR” Vitaly Khotsenko was injured.
The occupiers themselves say that it was an attack carried out by Ukrainian troops, but the Ukrainian Armed Forces deny this information. The details of Rogozin’s injury are also unknown. Some media reported that the soft tissues of his head, buttocks and thigh were damaged. But he himself claimed only injuries in the back.
He also assures that the people who died during the shelling were not his guards at all, but “friends” and “family”. How he is going to take revenge on the Ukrainian artillery remains unclear. Perhaps his “friends” in Roscosmos will also try to help him in this, who will smash another Russian satellite on the ground.
