The World Championships will be held from July 2 to July 7. The competitions are held at the Apache Pass Event Centre, a private airport located in Austin, Texas. The place was carefully chosen in such a way as to comply with safety standards, provide comfort for the participants of the competition and provide them with an opportunity to exchange experiences.

In total, more than 200 participants from 17 countries take part in the Championships. They fight for victory in nine different categories.

For the national team of our country, the preparation for this Championships, which lasted two years, turned out to be extremely difficult — due to power outages in winter and technical nuances of the competition. For example, the organizers have changed the class of engines on which participants will compete. According to coach Denis Pridannikov, because of this they had to redo the models. At the same time, under martial law, Ukrainian rocket modelers could not test them.

But despite all the difficulties, our sportsmen have done everything possible to prepare for the Championships. And the first achievements clearly demonstrate the result of their efforts. So, Denis Mozok won the first place among juniors in the class of models with a rocket accelerator S 4 A, and the team of young men became the second in the team competition.

The editors of The Universe Space Tech congratulate the national team of Ukraine with their first victories and wish them new successes.
