Last week, the media made a lot of noise because of the shocking testimony of military intelligence officer David Grusch. During his speech in Congress, Grusch claimed that the government was hiding real alien corpses from the public. This statement was immediately used by various conspiracy theorists as proof of their conspiracy theories. However, real experts in the search for alien civilizations claim that these statements have no basis and are nonsense in general.
Seth Shostak, a senior astronomer at the SETI Institute, in an article for MSNBC, reasonably refused to believe in such bold statements by Grusch that the Pentagon allegedly collected downed alien spaceships and bodies. Because extraordinary statements require extraordinary evidence. As Shostak argues, there is nothing behind the loud words of the Grusch.
Instead, Grusch and countless others who support him claim that credible evidence of extraterrestrial life and technology has been deliberately hidden by the government for unknown reasons. At the same time, according to the astronomer, if such alien remains really existed, thousands of scientists would already be actively fighting with each other for the right to be the first to undertake the study of these extraterrestrial phenomena.
Shostak also explains that even if there is a conspiracy to secretly conceal alien beings who, for some reason, continue to visit the United States, it is difficult to understand why this mystery would have lasted so long.
“Such secrets simply could not be kept secret for so long. The size of such a conspiracy would simply be too large, so someone would have let it slip a long time ago,” the scientist claims.
Although Shostak is a big supporter of the idea of the existence of alien life, he carefully considers all aspects of the case and remains cautious in his conclusions. He also recalls that from the point of view of science, there is still no evidence that representatives of extraterrestrial civilizations have ever arrived on our planet.
Earlier we reported how a scientist did not find an alien spaceship on the ocean floor.
