The chairman of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, promises to transfer 46 Sarmat ballistic missiles to the army of the aggressor country in the near future. This contradicts the peaceful status of this organization and can have pernicious consequences for its participation in international programs.
Rogozin Promised Ballistic Missiles
The chairman of the Roscosmos Corporation promised to supply the Russian army with Sarmat ballistic missiles. He did this on the TV show of the famous Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov. According to him, flight design tests are currently underway. Upon their completion, the delivery of weapons to two divisions of missile troops located in the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Orenburg Region will begin.
According to Rogozin, new missiles should be on arms in the fall of 2022. However, he also says that his department must make three more test launches. It is very doubtful that they will be able to hold them in such a short time.
In any case, “Sarmat” missiles will be produced at the plant in Krasnoyarsk. In total, 46 units are planned to be delivered to the troops. As always, Russia scares the world with a miracle weapon that has “no analogues”.
Roscosmos may be recognized as part of the military machine
Meanwhile, Rogozin states in plain text that the new missiles are directed against NATO. But the main thing in all this is not that Russia is once again threatening civilized countries with an atomic bomb. More important than the head of Roscosmos does this.
According to the charter, this organization is exclusively peaceful. And it is in this capacity it participates in the UN bodies dealing with space exploration. In addition, they continue to cooperate with Roscosmos in other projects, such as the International Space Station, solely because they are sure that this organization is not involved in armed aggression in Ukraine.
Western scientists still consider space as a possible bridge in establishing peaceful relations with Russia. However, Dmitry Rogozin is doing everything to bury these hopes. He had previously tried to threaten NATO by following them. Now he has actually admitted in plain text that his corporation is part of a system that threatens free countries with the outbreak of World War III.
