Ukrainian FPV drone simulator offers a chance to reenact a historic SBU special operation

The Ukrainian drone simulator Ukrainian Fight Drone Simulator (UFDS) has received a major update that adds a new special operation called “Spiderweb.” The mission recreates high-profile events and the combat operations of the “Alpha” Special Operations Center of the Security Service of Ukraine.

The special operation introduces a new format to the simulator called an “Immersive Epic.” Its main goal is to create accurate virtual reconstructions of the most significant Ukrainian drone operations on the modern battlefield.

The UFDS simulator from the developers at SIMTECH SOLUTIONS was originally created based on real combat experience and is used to train FPV drone operators. Thanks to accurate flight physics and realistic environmental conditions, the game offers civilians and military personnel maximum immersion in the work of a drone operator.

In the “Spiderweb” mission, players are invited to take part in a complex multi-level operation. Users will have to control a swarm of FPV drones and loitering munitions, overcome enemy electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures, and strike strategic enemy targets.

The developers note that “Spiderweb” is only the first step in implementing a series of historical reconstructions. In future updates, the team plans to recreate other key episodes involving the use of unmanned systems by the Defense Forces of Ukraine.

The update is already available for download on Steam for all UFDS owners. For full immersion and precise drone control, the developers traditionally recommend using specialized RC controllers (controllers for radio-controlled models).
