Iryna Verliuk

Researcher at the Main Astronomical Observatory of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
Since childhood, I have been fascinated by astronomy, charmed and inspired by the starry sky, and this prompted me to choose my future profession. After graduating from the Faculty of Physics at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, I have worked at the Main Astronomical Observatory for many years. My research interests include studies of variable and flaring stars.
I have participated in international observing programs and scientific conferences many times. She is a co-author and author of over 40 scientific publications and many popular journal science publications. In addition to my scientific work, I am interested in popularizing astronomy, so I organized excursions to the observatory and observations for everyone, as well as popular science lectures by scientists.
